Short, Warm Run

Breakfast.  Photo taken as a test of new
LED lighting over the kitchen counter.
Oatmeal beneath mostly-organic fruit.
We got out between the thunderstorms for a 40-minute run on the park's paved trails.  We poured 2.1 inches of rain out of the gauge again today, less than 24 hours' collection.  I haven't kept a log, but we have seen an unusual amount of rain here, and according to news reports, several Minnesota rivers are already flooding well beyond any previous records.

Happily for us, our house is  high and dry.  Some short pieces of the park's paved trails were still underwater this afternoon though.  Needless to say, we didn't even look at the grass (mud) trails.

I ran 3.53 miles in 39:12, pace 11:06, no pains.  It'll do for today.
