
Surprising to me, though, the pace ended up quick enough and I felt better and better as the laps clicked by. Nevertheless, I do feel more tired than usual afterward. Yesterday’s five hours of snow removal apparently took quite a toll. The best news: No pains of any kind! Splits: 8:41, 8:25, 8:19, 8:11. Good trend.
I keep telling myself that shoveling snow is good cross-training! However, I didn't have to shovel for 5 hours. Good job on the running.
ReplyDeleteI agree, Dori. It's excellent cross-training, and for some odd reason I actually enjoy it. But after clearing a big storm like this one I feel like I've run a marathon!
